1. Thanksgiving Fundraising Dinner (TFD)
• TFD 2008 – will be held at Dewan Ping Ming Melaka on the 1st of November.
• TFD tickets are already available. Kindly get your tickets from Sis Paecy or Ps Edmund. Please help us sell as many tickets as you can – RM50 per ticket.
• If you (or someone whom you are selling the tickets to) are buying a table (which is 10 seats) – please inform Sis Peacy to book a table for you or whoever is buying that table. Booking of tables can only be done for those who are buying the whole table.
2. Counseling Seminar
o A special seminar for all Befrienders and Befriendees with the title “Learning To Comfort Those Who Mourn” will take place on the 18th of October at Wesley Methodist Church Melala.
o Get more information from the brochures at the back or see Sis Tina.
3. RLM Christmas Choir
o Once again we will be having our FUN Christmas Choir this year. Our goals are …
? To bless various Marginalized Groups in Melaka (Old Folks Home, Drug Rehabilitation Centre, Home for the Mentally Challenge and etc)
? And also to raise some funds for RLM – through performing in Hotels and etc.
o Our first practice will start on the 14th of October (Tuesday) 9pm at RLM Centre. For the whole month of October – practices will be every Tuesdays 9pm – 10pm.
4. RLM Mission Trip 2009
o Kindly note that the date of RLM’s annual Mission Trip for 2009 will be from the 19th – 21st of June 2009. Closing date for registration is on the 1st of December 2008.
o Many have already booked their flights in AirAsia. If you are planning to book your flights – kindly get flight details from Sis Helga – so that you can book the same flight as the rest of the team.
o We will be ministering in a very poor village in Sabah. Don’t miss this great opportunity to bless this marginalized community in Sabah.
