1 Corinthians 15:10…
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without
effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the
grace of God that was with me.
o The simplified definition of Grace is “Underserved Love”.
Being a blessing and sharing goodness with someone - even when one does
not deserve it.
o Ephesians 3:7… The apostle Paul was one of the greatest Christian
who ever lived. Paul said that the grace that Jesus gave him - made him
a powerful servant of Jesus. From Paul’s life – we learn that
the Grace of God in our lives – will supernaturally naturally transform
us into the Servant of Jesus that God is calling us to be!
o Matthew 25:21… Slowly but surely - every true child of God will
joyfully and humbly become a Servant of the most high God!
o 2 Peter 1:2… The Word of God teaches us that the more we get to
know Jesus – the more our lives will be filled with God’s
Grace and Peace.
o Matthew 10:8…The word of God also tells us that freely we receive
the grace of God – freely we will give grace or underserved love
to the people around us.
o 1 John 4:19-20… An ungracious person is an individual that has
not experience the grace of God! We can only truly love God and others
AFTER we have been loved FIRST by Jesus Himself!
o 1 Corinthians 13:4-7… A Gracious person loves others even when
they do not deserve it. Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy,
love does not boast, love is not proud. Love is not rude, love is not
self-seeking, love is not easily angered, and love keeps no record of
wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love
always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.
o Ephesians 6:7-8… Whenever we share grace with others – we
are to share it wholeheartedly, as if we were serving the Lord!
o Romans 8:16…Like Father like son. God is filled with grace and
He is making us like Him – GRACIOUS.
o Matthew 25:40… Jesus is calling us into Gracious Living! Gracious
living is experiencing God’s grace and sharing that grace with others
that God put in our lives. The flow for Gracious Living is…
1. Antecedent : Discovering more about Jesus
2. Behavior: Experiencing God’s abundant grace and peace in our
lives
3. Consequences: Supernaturally naturally becoming a gracious servant
of Jesus
