Deuteronomy 28:6… You
will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
• The original meaning of “You will be blessed
when you come in and blessed when you go out” refers to being blessed
in ones DAILY life - in or outside of ones home.
• Hebrews 13:8… Many Christian believe that Jesus is the God
of their yesterdays and the God of their tomorrows. But very few look
to Jesus as the God of their COMPLETE Life which is… yesterday,
TODAY and tomorrow.
• Hebrews 4:16…Many are praising Jesus for what He had done
in the past. Many are believing in Jesus for a good future. But very few
run to Jesus when they need Him now and today! But the bible clearly says
– Jesus is the same … yesterday, today and forevermore!
• 2 Thessalonians 2:16… Very few children of God believe that
Jesus is right there with them. In time of need – many run to others
or even to themselves instead of running to the most loving, most powerful
and most available One…
o It is very easy to believe that Jesus is our God of our yesterdays –
because we can look back and remember what Jesus had already done in our
lives.
o It is also easy to believe that Jesus is our God of tomorrow –
because tomorrow has not come yet.
o But it is harder to believe that Jesus is our God of NOW and today.
Jesus is present with us - right NOW and today - to bless us, to comfort
us, to accompany us, to hear us and to be God that we claim Him to be.
Jesus wants to bless us TODAY.
• Lamentations 3:23… As children of God we
can be blessed in our daily lives. We will experience God’s blessings
and God’s presence – if we know, believe and mediate on this
truth! Today we are BLESSED! The moment we wake up – we should thank
Jesus for a blessed day – not because we are good but because Jesus
is good and His faithfulness are new every morning!
• Psalm 118:24…Because God’s Word says that this is
the day that HE has made and we can rejoice and be glad in it; so it means
we can confidently believe that every morning, when you get up, we are
getting up to a day that the Jesus has made for, and because HE had made
our day – we can rejoice and be glad in it.
• Psalm 68:19… We are blessed every day and God’s word
says that our God daily bears our burdens. At night, when it is time to
sleep, we must continue to believe that we will be blessed when we get
up in the morning because there will be another load of blessings waiting
for us from our heavenly Father who loves you so much!
• Exodus 16:4… God promised the Israelites that He will be
with them each day - to provide their needs – He wanted to see if
His people trusted Him. Today Jesus is saying the same thing to us. Jesus
is saying that He is promising to take care of us DAILY. Jesus is waiting
to see if we trust Him or do we trust ourselves or someone else or something
else in the new day that He gives us every morning!
