2 Samuel 22:31… "As for God,
his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for
all who take refuge in him.
• In general – every Christian believes that God and His Word
are perfect. In other words – we have no problem believing that
there is nothing is wrong with God and there’s nothing is wrong
with God’s Words.
• BUT sadly – many Christians have not come to the place to
in believing that there is also nothing wrong with the child of God –
which includes EVERY ONE who is in Christ!
• Hebrews 10:14… When some Christians do not receive their
blessing or healing or breakthrough or restoration or the miracle child
they desire, they can’t help but believe the lies of Satan that
says - something is wrong with them. Many Christians will say, “Nothing
is wrong with Jesus, nothing is wrong with the God’s Word, so there
must be something wrong with me and that is why I am not bless!”
• John 8:42-45…Satan is the father of lies! He is real and
is striving to stop people from believing every truth about Jesus.
• Romans 5:17 & Psalm 5:12… The bible clearly says that
only through Jesus – we become righteous. And we are blessed simply
because Jesus has made us righteous. Any Christian who believe that one
is blessed because of ones own goodness – they got it wrong!
• Hebrews 8:6-7… In the old covenant, God blesses His people
only if they played their part by obeying all of His laws. If they didn’t
do their part, not only would they not be blessed, the curse would come
on them. Most of the time, they ended up under the curse because they
just could not keep all of God’s laws. So God found fault with that
covenant because though He wanted to bless the human race.
• Luke 22:20…In the new covenant, the human race can do nothing
except to believe and receive. The new covenant of grace was cut between
God in the person of the Father and God in the person of Jesus —
both perfect and are more than able to keep the covenant.
• God in the person of Jesus is our representative in the new covenant.
Jesus represents us. In the new covenant, how much we can receive from
God depends on how good our representative is. Jesus is the perfect Man
with perfect obedience. So in Jesus, we are qualified to receive all the
blessings of God! We only need to believe and receive.
• 2 Corinthians 5:21… Jesus’ blood has been shed for
the cleansing of all your sins. We are now the righteousness of God in
Christ. By His one perfect sacrifice for all our sins, He has perfected
us forever.
• Today, Satan has no rights to tell us that we cannot be blessed
because there is something wrong with us. So as we are waiting for our
miracle, we can say, “Nothing’s wrong with God, nothing’s
wrong with the Word and nothing’s wrong with me!”
